Group Informed consent and Terms and Conditions

Groups is a powerful and valuable place for healing and growth to occur. It is important to me that a safe environment is created where honest, interpersonal exploration will occur that will benefit all members. In order to create this environment, there are certain guidelines that need to be agreed upon by each participant.

Confidentiality:

It is important that each individual feels safe to share private information in a confidential atmosphere. It is important that every member of the group agree to uphold the confidentiality of the therapeutic setting. Members agree to keep names and identities of other group members confidential. It is appropriate to share your personal reaction and feelings about group with others, but please do not share other people’s stories with anyone outside of the group.

Attendance and Participation:

Group is most successful when there is regular attendance and participation on behalf of each participant. If you cannot attend a group meeting, please email me ahead of time to let me know you will not be present.

What to expect

Group time consists of both process and teaching time. Group will begin with a brief check-in by each group member  followed by time for process time, structured feedback and reactions by other members of the group. At times the group may focus on a topic with all members verbally participating. In either case, the group dynamic offers a place where you can experience support and real time feedback. These dynamics provide a very powerful environment for change.

Remember, the more you give of yourself during the sessions, the more you will receive. The more honest and open you are, the more you allow for insight and growth.

Fees

The fee for group is $249 per month for 12 months. Payment for each session will be debited monthly. This is a 12 month membership commitment (but please have a conversation with me if a major life event occurs during our time that may impact you.)

My Role as Group Facilitator and Coach:

In Maiden’s Journey, my role is to serve as a coach and facilitator, guiding you through this immersive group experience. This program is not intended to provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional services, and it is essential that you make your own informed decisions based on what resonates with you throughout the process.

It’s important to understand that coaching is different from mental health services. While I hold active status as a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia, I am not operating in the role of a licensed therapist within this group. The focus of Maiden’s Journey is on personal growth, empowerment, and exploration—not on diagnosing or treating mental health conditions.

However, as a licensed professional, I am still bound by the ethical and legal responsibilities that apply to my license. This includes mandated reporting laws concerning child and elder abuse or neglect. Please know that while this group is a powerful container for transformation, it is not a substitute for individual therapy or mental health treatment.

By checking the box below, you are acknowledging that you have read and understand all of the information and agree to the terms and conditions of Maidens Journey and group participation.

Maiden's Journey: A 12-Month Group Immersion for Therapists

As a therapist, you’re deeply familiar with holding space for others. But who’s holding space for you?

Maiden’s Journey is a 12-month multidimensional container designed to support you—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually—so you can reconnect with your own healing, joy, and abundance.

This experience is crafted specifically for therapists who are also highly sensitive women, often carrying the weight of perfectionism, anxiety, and the emotional labor that comes with caring for others. Through a unique combination of neuroscience, somatic and energetic practices, psychology, and spirituality, this journey provides you with the tools to:

  • Release emotional patterns like perfectionism, over-giving, and anxiety
  • Access self-acceptance and more self-connection during this phase of your life.
  • Step into your personal power and abundant self, both in and outside of your practice

What You'll Receive:

  •  12 months of transformative group immersion designed to support your growth as both a therapist and an individual.
  •  3 virtual group sessions per month for live teachings, check-ins, Q&A, and community support with fellow therapists who share your journey.
  • Weekly video teachings, meditations, energy work, journal prompts, and self-exploration exercises designed to fit into your busy schedule and support self-paced reflection.
  • Solstice and full moon rituals to help you anchor your transformation and reconnect with yourself as a healer and as a woman.
  • Dedicated space for masterminding and connecting with other members between sessions.

Our journey begins on January 7th, with our first group meeting the week of January 27th.

Commitment:

This is NOT a subscription plan. A 12-month commitment is requested, with understanding should any major life event occur during our time together.

What People Are Saying:

Maiden’s Journey has been one of the foundational experiences that has supported and fueled my personal growth journey this year. It’s been one of those things that just aligned so well with what I needed even before I knew I needed it. As a highly sensitive person, knowing that this year I was really ready to make a change, I was ready to walk through the world in a way that was aligned with what was right for my body, my sensitivity, and not living in burn out mode, Maiden’s Journey has walked with me through that process and supported me in a multitude of ways. One of those ways is first, having Amber’s wisdom and practice to fall back on. She practices what she preaches, she walks slowly and intentionally through life and has built a curriculum that addresses a wide array of topics that are intentional and necessary for building a foundation of lasting change. Secondly, having a group of women to support you, validate you, and hold you in the hard moments is so important. It’s been inspiring to see their growth and even in the smallest moments I’ve reflected on how awesome it is to walk through life and celebrate each other’s victories. It’s something that we don’t always have in society today. Finally, the content alone that Amber shares as part of the Maiden’s Journey experience is awesome. From video modules, journal prompts, community group chat, seasonal rituals, and I love that it’s always available so I can access it on my own schedule. I am very thankful for this group of women, for Amber, and for the work that I have been able to see in myself as I’ve practiced taking back my power, growing in knowing myself more, and cultivating the life I can say I am genuinely loving and enjoying with abundance and ease.
